Renewed Subscription Download Error

from Stardock Forums

Just renewed object desktop ultimate for renewal price of approximately $35.00 (discounted price appeared when I clicked "renewal").  Have tried to download Object Desktop Ultimate from Impulse but am told to purchase ODU.   Have clicked on registration, have serial number (unchanged from prior year), but am not recognized and again told to purchase ODU   I just want to download the damn thing but am apparently dain bramaged because I can't figure out how to do it.    Suggestions please.  Thanks.  Candace

used same email, used paypal this time, registration information is unchaged form prior subscription.  i'm winging it now, just downloaded OD launchpad via Impulse and am downloading everything that is "available".   am i on the right track?

Not sure really.  What happens when you go to the My Desktop tab in impulse?  Do you see all yoru apps listed?

Hello I am having the same issue.  I just upgraded my Object Desktop to the Ultimate version but Impulse doesn't see the update and keeps bringing me back to the purchase page.

Have you

  1. Verified your registration number by having it sent to you (via the ? in the upper right of Impulse: Look up Serial number)
  2. Re-entered it on the the ODNT Ultimate entry (via the ? in the upper right of Impulse: Register a product)
  3. Checked on the My Desktop tab to make sure the apps are not there

Also, you may want to start with a full build of Impulse. - Impulse Client - Full

Yes I have verified the registration, yes I tried the rigister a product. Yes I checked the MyDesktop tab and no the apps are not there. and when i open Object Desktop Launch Pad the additional apps that are supposed to be available with the Ultimate version are still greyed out.  I will check on the Impulse Client Full and see what happesn. Do I need to uninstall the current version?

First, make sure that Impulse has the correct log in info;

Click on the blue Stardock logo, and from the flyout menu choose 'Change Log-in...'. Make sure that Account Name shows 'YOUR E-MAIL HERE', and re-enter your Password, 'YOUR PASSWORD'. Click 'Login', Impulse should refresh then click on the 'My Desktop' Tab and you should see all the applications.

Are you seeing updates to the products that you already owned?

If you email support, please send a screenshot of what you see on the "My Desktop" tab.

You may also want to try uninstalling and reinstalling Impulse in case the install is corrupted somehow.

if i uninstall impulse do i first have to uninstall all the applications?  or will the reinstall recognize what i already have?
