WC Renewals

Something is wonky here.....

I am betting that this has been covered somewhere, but I can't find it. I just have to ask, because I have noticed something I am not so happy about. I renewed my sub earlier this month, even though it was way early, just to help with the sub drive. All good. But I see that rather than adding a year to my sub, which only seems fair to me, WC gave me a year from the purchase date. Now, it seems to me that I lost 8 months there!!!  The last sub should run till 10-9-2010, rather than 2-3-2010. My math says I got 4 months sub for the price of 12 months!!!  Am I the only one unhappy with this?

That sucks!!o_O

I'm sure [I hope] there's a reasonable explanation, and fix! :)

There is a fix and that is to contact sales@stardock.com. They will be glad to sort this out for you.

Heya Hankers, my dear, just curious, but I emailed them last year, just about a script permission, and I still haven't heard back! lol:rofl:

Hope they do the same for me.

Jim...they were trying to tell you something I think.... XD

PDJ, just looking at your screenshot it would appear of instead of renewing your current subscription you got another account.  Even though the serial numbers look the same.    Look at your stuff again and see if I'm not right.

Sales should be able to clear that up.:sun:

Went and checked mine after an early renewal (same reason - to help the sub drive) and it looks fine.  Maybe just an early early glitch?

Things like this are always better handled via PM or e-mail.  It's obviously some type mistake, and as Hankers said, an e-mail to sales@stardock.com should get it straightened in no time.

I just renewed for another year and it now shows me good through 11/4/2010, so it worked for me.  Now that I've purchased ahead can I bequeath my left over time in case I don't get to use it?.........Just kidding........I HOPE. Gee I didn't see the thermometer jump.  Prolly did when I was on this page, huh?;)
