Aquarium Desktop 2009 not working anymore

Two weeks ago I bought Aquarium Desktop 2009, installed it, and loved it... until I restarted my computer about 30 minutes later. Ever since I haven't been able to get the fishes (or anything else related to it) to come up again. Even when I first installed it and it worked I was unable to add fish or customize anything, as when I right-clicked the fish in the tray all I got was Hide, Close, About, and Autorun. Task Manager says it's running and I have the fish in my tray still. I verified that it was installed correctly through Impulse and it said it was just fine. I've disabled and re-enabled everything I can think of that might interfere with it, from antivirus programs and firewalls to my virtual desktop program. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it at least four or five times now. I've tried restarting my computer. I didn't install anything new before or install any updates to anything when it quit working. It just doesn't work anymore. I've tried running it as administrator and tried putting it into compatibility mode for XP. I have no idea what else I can do.

 

I've contacted support, and while they're trying to help, it's taking a while and I'm wondering if anyone is having or has had similar problems. I'd just search for Aquarium Desktop 2009, but the search function on here seems to be broken, as I can type anything I want (including programs which I know have multiple topics) and all I ever get back is 0 results. (I'm using Firefox, but I tried Internet Explorer as well. Same thing happens.)

 

I'm running Vista Home Basic. I'm not sure what other information I should be giving you guys. Can someone please help?

Close down Aquarium Desktop 2009. Please navigate to the following folders and delete them.

In Windows XP
C:\Program Files\Stardock\DesktopGadgets\AquariumDesktop2009
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\Aquarium Desktop

In Windows Vista
C:\Program Files\Stardock\DesktopGadgets\AquariumDesktop2009
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Stardock\Aquarium Desktop

Once this has been done, reinstall and try again.

I have the same issue with you and I've tried to follow these steps from Dash but still didn't work so please anyone could help me why is not showed? Thanks!
