Does Galaxy Forge maps work with SOSE v 1.13?

Has anyone had any luck getting custom maps made with Galaxy Forge to work in V1.13?  I created a map and saved it in the galaxy file but does not show when I start the game and go to the choose map option.  Shouldnt it be in the custom map box?  Second thing why have I only been able to find 1 MOD (that german named one) that works with v 1.13?  I am about ready to reinstall the entire game and only install v 1.05, any versions above that seem to eliminate the ability to use custom maps and mods.  Am I missing something?
