I want my old game back

  Ok, I dont care who gets this...... I am more fed up than I have ever bee.  I can not play the game I have bought since I bought itand now I can not delete or uninstall it since there is a error in XML document (28, 8, ).

  Damn it, I had spouted how good Sins was to my friends, and Entrenchment is keeping me pinned.  I WANT OUT!!!!!.  I need an answer to, HOW DO I GET THIS UNINSTALLED from my computer if there is an error THAT KEEPS ME FROM PLAYING IT????????

Click on the Orb in the upper left, Preferences |Reset data

See if that doesn't help.

If that doesn't work, remove the Sins registry entry for Impulse and you can re-install Sins again...

ZUBAZ..... Thanks for the assist on this,  Unfortunately,  seem to have an invalid account also and it can not log me in.

HACK78..... Remove what from where???  I am an old man who does not work with computers, Care to give me a little instruction please???? I am an Idiot when it comes to these things.

You can try to use a software called Crap Cleaner, aka. Ccleaner.

Uninstall Sins of a Solar Empire and Impulse. Run the ccleaners registry cleaner (many times until it finds nothing more), then reboot the PC, reinstall Impulse or use CD to install the game.

That should do it!

 

EDIT: You can download it from www.ccleaner.com its a freeware, remember to check off "Install Yahoo Toolbar"
