Tournaments, Matches, Rankings

I have a few questions about how tournaments will work in Demigod.

Will tournaments be automated or can we expect a system like Supreme Commander where there is a tourney director?

The light vs dark tournament setup, will each side be truly limited to 4 DGs? I think that will limit a lot of the options that will make the strategy portion of DG fun, though having a tourney like that wouldn't be bad if it wasn't 100% of the time.

I'm assuming there will be a function to form groups of 2, 3, 4 or 5 and search for other groups to battle. Will there be a ladder system for each (2v2, 3v3, etc) and also will it be ranked by team (player a, and player b, rating 2000) or (player a rating 2000, player b rating 1900)?

Will player's "achievement" page be viewable to other players like in SupCom? Those little banners meant alot to some people

These questions might have been answered before but it would be awesome to get a good consolidated response thread going, if GPG can't answer these questions now I'll be content also. Just curious and happy to hear we will get to test these features soon.

I think we are all curious about this stuff.  Any thoughts, Devs?

In terms of preference: Automated tournaments would be fine, but I think it's a mistake to limit it to 4 specific DGs on a side, unless you can polish the balance to such an extent that they really match each other - never easy when the Dgs are not direct analogues.  Of course that's where balance testing will come in next week, but we don't have alot of time, and this looks grim:

Sedna vs QoT

Oak vs Erebus

Rook vs UB

Regulus vs TB

Who wins in a skilled 4 v 4 with these DGs?

I'd like to see PUG matching, ranking for teams and individual players, as well as visible achievement pages.

Also - is the above something which has to be built more with SD's Impulse or GPG?

Seems like it'd fall into what Stardock is wanting to do with Impulse, but I'm not aware if Impulse is ready and set up for all of that yet... so good question. :)
