Video driver crash

I'll have to write down the exact error message next time it happens, but this is the info I have

-NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT

-Latest Drivers

-Windows XP SP2

Sins Version 1.13

Description of event-

Started post installation of Ver 1.13

Game suffers a video lag spike followed by a message saying that a driver crashed. After that the game is frozen until I alt-tab out of it and close it via the taskbar. My whole system then suffers video glitches until I restart.

I have yet to try reinstalling the driver (the obvious first step) but in the meantime, is anyone else suffering this kind of error post 1.13?

Turn the graphics down. They aren't fully optimized yet.

Don't know. Whatever works for now.

I've seen medium being reported successful before.
