Silly noobie question

Upgrading

I've been using trial version of several desktop enhancements (cursor fx, Dream Scape, Colours and Icon Packer) and I now want to buy the full package. Do I have uninstall of these first before downloading?

I remember seeing somewhere before, that that YOU WOULD have to remove the free version before installing the paid version.
