Explain to me why i could only load up Entrenchment and not the original Sins of a Solar Empire version 1.12.042?

I checked on Impulse to load up SoaSE only to find Entrenchment available, I am aware that Impulse runs in the background, so I'm assuming Impulse does some background updating. I'd prefer it if i had a choice of either playing Sins of a Solar Empire version 1.12.042 and Entrenchment version 0.91.002. I've had to yet again uninstall and reinstall SoaSE and Entrenchment, It's very inconvenient for me.

I don't like that. Not at all.

 

I'd prefer not to have to open yet another ticket with Stardock support.

Once you install entrenchment there is no going back to the original 1.12 version, also - mods dont work with entrenchment atm.

I see. But i would still like to play the normal SoaSE and have Entrenchment as a second option. Oh well, can't be helped.

U can have your cake and eat it too!

Just do what many of us have done.

Reinstall Sins vanilla.

Copy and paste it. (rename as what ever)

then download entrenchment and volia.

U have two seperate sins folders one for vanilla and use of mods and the other for entrenchment.
