Star Trek DS9 Movie Petition

Petition Paramount Pictures to make a DS9 Movie.

http://lcarscom.net/ds9movie.htm

While I was conducting some research on Star Trek ships sizes/class.  Mainly to incorporate into the GC2 Twilight mod I've been working on.  I happen to stumble accross on a petition drive for a Star Trek DS9 movie at http://lcarscom.net.  Personally, I think that was the best ending that have ever been produced for any the Star Trek series.  As far as prefered Star Trek series; I think TOS is the best.  TNG & DS9 are tied for the #2 spot.  Enterprise would be #3.  and then Voyager.  T'Pol Rocks.  Had to say that.  Anyways, wasn't sure if the petition would be helpful, but, I thought what is it I have to lose.  Worst case scenario they either ignore the petition, or make a movie that tanks.  Best case scenario,  they make really good movie that compliments the series.  So I've sign the petition.  So if there is any Star Trek fans out there who would like to support the DS9 movie petition drive, please visit lcarscom.net.

I Remember. That was in the last movie "Nemesis" TNG. The movie was good, but the plot was way too similar to that of "Wrath of Khan". Spoke was killed off in WOK too. I remembered how that turned me off for a while. But then, all was forgiven when they release the sequals.

TNG & DS9 are tied for the #2 spot.

Are you kidding? TNG was the best.

DS9 was the worst, hands down. It was a Soap opera and I wouldn't walk across the street to see the movie.

Sorry, just the way I feel about DS9.

I worked on DS9 and they are VERY happy with how the show's story wrapped.  And with all the previous Trek creators (Berman, etc.) now out of the loop (thank god!), there will never be any interest by Paramount (which HATES sci-fi and never understood Trek) in doing a DS9 movie.

Just be happy that DS9 eventually turned into a good show at all.  Originally, the entire show's concept, storyline, etc. was stolen from J. Michael Straczynski after he pitched what would become Babylon 5 to them.  So for many years, you could see that DS9 was a bad clone of the B5 storyline and thus floundering creatively, but eventually it found its own mojo in the final seasons and ended quite well indeed.
