Activation Issue

I used a trial version of this software and really liked it alot. I purchased 6.2 it installed without issue. Then everything hit the perverbial fan. I have been trying to activate it for over a month and have contacted support by email and phone and never once recieved a response. Everytime i try and run WB i get a message like this

Error activating the product

 

I have tried activating with my firewall or antivirus running still does not work. I also attempted the offline activation, twice, stardock support has yet to respond to those emails as well

Error 12 means that the serial number is not matching the account information. I would love to help you here but I need to you to send in both the serial number and the email address to support@stardock.com so we can sort this out for you.

While I did see that you said you didn't get a responce from support please know that if you did not get an auto reply from the system support never got the message. If you have a ticket number from earlier support services please post it so I can look it up for you. Please also make sure that any spam software lists @stardock.com as allowable messages.

I am also having activation issues.  I have just upgraded my laptop and when I try to activate WindowBlinds I get an activation error.  I have submitted this to support@stardock.com however I have only recieved auto responses and the same email that I got initially with my serial codes and email etc. which don't work.

My ticket number is QGT-522205

Let me know if you need my email and serial number and I will send you a PM.  I am also concerned that I have tried to activate it so many times whilst this issue has been occuring that now I have used up all my installs.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

They are/were having server issues :)

I believe the server issues may have been resolved now, so please try reactivating.  If you still have problems please post back.

Thanks - it has now activated.  One problem I have noticed (and this may require a new thread) but the skins are only applying if I restart my laptop.

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on "System info" then click the "Copy text" button. Paste that info here.

I'm having the same problem. Have sent several e-mails to support about the problem with NO reply. Never had this problem with any other program before, paid for windowblinds almost 2 weeks ago and not been able to activate it. Wish I had know this before I bought.

Support is still catching up from the holiday but every time you bump you emailyou reset the order in the queue.  :(

Ticket ID is when you send an email to support@stardock.com requesting help, you will receive a 'ticket number 'ID' for your issue.

ChasThom,

Your support ticket was entered Dec 28, we responded on the 29th. On Jan 8 you replied that you have not yet received an response. We then sent another reply, and further you say you still didn't get it.

I imagine our replies are going into your spam or Junk mail folder. Please check there.
