2.0 and campaigns and the Ultimate Edition

I have just got the Ultimate Edition and played a couple of sandbox games to get the hang of it (I have got GalCiv I and TOCG *)

I was going to start the campaings but what effect does the 2.0 update have on them?

It is not out yet for the Ultimate edition so should I wait till the update (other post suggests the weekend but lets assume it is a bit longer) and then start the campagins in the 'ALL NEW' game or do the campaings get played in the old game engines and are not part of the update.

2.0 brings in support for DL & DA campaigns in the TA engine, though I don't know what to answer to you given the current state of things...

Probably just wait then for a week or so, only really get weekends free and I also have Fallout 3 for my PS3 (played it 12 hours straight last friday (9AM-9PM) thats after doing a nightshift at work!
