What Browsers to Use?

I have been using Mozilla for a long time and have recently started to use Avant.
I have found Mozilla and Opera are unable to work with some web sites. For example Opera will not let me log onto the Joe user web site.
I don't like the fact that Avant is based on Internet Explorer.. But it has the most options..

Firefox because it's the browser out there that renders by the W3C standards. And then I use IE for Windows Update or for the odd site out there that only works in IE.

I'll always use IE. This "Firefox" fad will die sooner or later.

Firefox isn't a fad and isn't dying. Keep dreaming.


Sorry but I think it is. Soon MS will get a new IE up and running with all the features FF has. And even now FF users only account for maybe 20% of the browser users out there - IE still holds a big part of the market.

But think about this: If FF gets really popular than it will be attacked with virus and hacked just like IE.

Anyways - On my machine IE is faster and starts faster and is much easier to use.

I have never tried the IE based browsers. I do like FireFox and use it mostly. I piticulary love the user profiles.

As for stardock's new web broswer, i think it should (not that it is) be Blog Navigator.

Can you imaging a browser that allows you to blog, archive web pages, share links and so forth? Plus intergrate with tool bars and such?
