Overlapping Planets

Any plans to fix this?

Two nights ago while playing version 1.11, I ended up having two volcanic planets that almost completely overlapped one another.  It would have been almost impossible to place structures in them or to coordinate a battle.  Are there any plans to fix this problem?  Perhaps the random maps could be modified so that no planet can be less than a radius of 5 or 10 Galaxy Forge units away from one another?

we did this once in galaxy forge for shits and giggles. We put 5 star systems on top of eachother, and needless to say, the engine did not like rendering 90 tactical grids at the same time.

The random map generator does this to me all the time. Usually its a colonizable being overlaped by an uncolonizable on my maps. I like to make really small maps with lots of stuff in it, so that might be my problem.

Basically it can happen, but is very rare - its a quirk of the random map generator thats been there since version 1.0.  I've only ever once seen it in any of my games

I've seen it in a few - its hard to get to the bottom planet with a fleet, let alone colonise and put stuff on it..

at least if you could be able to build things on it easly, it would be easy to defend two at once

I've seen a wormhole right in the middle of a planet!  At first I couldn't figure out why that planet was hazy? And why it sorta glowed?  I thot, for sure, that the other player had hacked the map... somehow.  I didn't trust him, and since it was my first game online, I was freaked out.

Untill we both finally figured it out together.  It made it a very memorable game.
