Object Dock not starting on windows boot

Thanks in advance for your help!

I just installed and cutomized objectdock on my vista home premium system. When I restart the computer though, the dock doesnt come up automatically (I have to find the link and start it manually).

I have double checked the settings several times and "Run at startup" button is selected. Oddly enough, if I desect the button and save my preferences, the next time that I open the settings tab it is still selected.

In summary: Object dock doesnt boot with the system despite that option being selected, and I cant "unselect" the boot at start up check box.

 

Any help or advice would be appreciated

(If it makes any difference, I have changed some of the defualt services and registries to streamline Vista. I reviewd all my changes that I have made and those changes *shouldnt* cause a change in system boot of a newly installed program)

You might want to make sure there's a shortcut for OD in the following directory:

C:\Users\*YOUR USER NAME*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

If there's not a shortcut here, chances are it won't run on startup.

Also, I noticed that this thread is in the Object Desktop section. Your question would probably have been more visible to the right eyes if it were under "Stardock support > ObjectDock." ;)
