Hi, I have a problem of excessive consumption of memory on Windows XP workstations with version 9 of F-Secure Client Security.
Own testing I noticed that stopping the service fsgkhs "F-Secure Gatekeeper Handler Starter" the memory used is reduced by 50% or more.
In some cases I noticed the error below:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: F-Secure Gatekeeper
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 06/05/2010
Time: 9:30:38 AM
User: N/A
Computer: xxxx
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( F-Secure Gatekeeper ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: , \Device\HarddiskVolume1\WIN...manifest.
I turned off, from the console, realtime scanning on all files but memory allocated is the same.
Since the policy, from the console manager, gatekeeper's features are disabled (virus protection for e-mail and web traffic, etc.) let me know if i can not run this service on windows, while maintaining real-time protection enabled and if this is contraindicated.
I very much appreciate suggestions about.
