No more skinning after update

Hi,

today I updated my WindowBlinds through Impulse. Impulse told be to reboot. After reboot, WindowBlinds is loaded but skinning isn't working anymore. I tried changing the skin which resulted in only changing the system colors and not applying the skinning itself.

I'm currently seeing the pure windows style (not even aero enabled) which looks like Windows 3.11

Thanks for any hint to fix this :)

PS: Selecting the Vista Aero (first on the left) starts the normal Vista theme.

I had major issues with this last update also. Windows Defender turned off, Windows Firewall disabled and I got the reboot till your blind issue....... I ended up uninstalling it (multiple times) and finally trying to load MyColors which also went to classic, so I uninstalled MyColors.

Then I ran Ccleaner, clicked the blue orb in Impulse and under Preferences >  Reset Data.....then I reinstalled MyColors and miracle of miracles...it worked!

So I opened up Impulse again and saw that an update to Windowblinds (which wasn't installed) was avaiable from 6.00.00 to 6.30.104 So I did and it FINALLY worked...

3 hours to update....major league PITA

edit...you should uninstall and reinstall...looks like you've got at least one borked file

Uninstall WB, reboot your PC, then check the System Registry for the following Keys, delete if found;

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\WindowBlinds

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\WindowBlinds

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\WindowBlinds

Then, re-install WB via Impulse.

The issue will be the missing wbload.dll.

As suggested above a reinstall is needed.
