Two quick questions

My first Question is this:
Can Photoshop brushes be converted or such in order to work with PSP?
If so, how, and can someone point me at a Tutorial to do it?

My second Question is this:
I found several wallpapers with the flame effect in the picture below,
does anybody know the name of the filter or program that did this?
/me wanna buy this...
[/quote]

[EDIT]
Why doesn't Imageshack's Thumbnail links work on WinCustomize?
It's rather annoying...

possibly because either:

it's due to WC's own image resizer

or you're inserting the link incorrectly

if use the image insertion icon and put in the direct link to the full pic, all will be well

have you tried asking @ where you found it?

there's lots of programs and plugins - can get hard to tell

apophysis springs to mind

if you're willing to spend time working at it, something like can be done using freeware apps like  <a href="http://www.getpaint.net/index.html">paint.net</a> and a <a href="http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25180">flame plug-in</a>

Here's the link to see the pic directly:

@ Bichur
That is a nice effect 'n' all,
but it's not the one in the pic I posted,
and also, I have several different PSP versions,
and don't really want yet another graphic program.

Also, I cannot find the page I got it from anymore,
and don't even remember how I got to where I found it.

@ vStyler
Nope, that didn't do the trick either...

@ Subject
If it help to identifiy the filter/pligun/program,
I seem to remember it's some kind of Smoke effect that can be given a flame treatment.

You have to use the hidden link at the very bottom....the one that says not to use on forums.

@ TYCUS
Nothing that looks like the picture there, thanks for trying.

On my travels looking for where I downloaded this,
I've come across three pages that contian pictures with the exact same effect I'm looking for:
http://www.softarchive.net/graphic/high_quality_fire_wallpapers:109004.html
http://www.colour-crash.com/wallpaper/2008/11/burning-letters-a-z-brennende-buchstaben-a-z/
http://prowts.com/graphic/burning-letters-a-z

This "Human Torch from 'The Fantastic Four' " effect is what I'm really after.

I got a glass of nice cold milk & some cookies for whoever finds this.

Well whaddya know, I got the Clickable Thumbnail thingy to work...

If anyone wants to use this, copy the "Thumbnail for Websites" html code,
that would be the first line starting with "<a href" at the top of the ImageShack hosted page,
and paste it into your post using the HTML button.
Voila, a clickable Thumbnail...!  :ninja:

One of your links there is a warez site with premium themes from SD, WC artists and TSF themes as well as other pirated stuff.

Try using photobucket. I stopped using imageshack, ticked me off too many times. PB is making me happy so far. ;)

@ vStyler
I saw that, which is why I went for the lesser evil and posted the direct link to the Wallpaper download page,
as I really am now getting desperate to find this filter/plugin/program/tutorial/whatever for this exact effect.
Now if I was actually interested in Warez, you couold start worrying,
however, I think it's clear enough now what exactly I AM after, and that I'm ready and willing to pay for it.

@ ALMonty
Now WHY didn't I think of that line...  *_* :-"

@ ImStein
I solved the problem as you can see 4 or 5 posts above this one.

Having said all that, it's now 03:00 where I'm at, and therefore time for bed since I gotta work tomorrow/today.
Hopefully someone will have a solution tomorrow.

I reckon that's a Photoshop plug-in called Panopticum Fire................ B[]

Sorry to say - but you are not going to do this with PSP - no way!

I believe it is done with the new Photoshop CS 4.

You should go to Photoshop Cafe and ask there nicely - you will have to signup first to post

Here is the link

http://www.photoshopcafe.com/cafe/

But as Boxxi has posted here it may be this plugin here

http://photoshop.pluginsworld.com/plugins/adobe/111/panopticum/panopticum-fire-3-0.html

But again it works in Photoshop and is for commercial use. Which usually means it is not free!
