Why is Wincustomize the slowest site to load pages or is this just a frustration factor to induce subscription sales?

Does it  load any faster with a subscription?

nope. They are working to resolve the issue. Don't forget that the site is very graphics rich.

Hopefully they'll get it fixed up. I know they're working on it.

WC is due for a complete rewrite for next year which should make it a lot faster.

and yes they are working on it, some have even suggested an overhaul

It's not the graphics that is the issue.

It's something to do with the way the database is interacted with.
