Still no system tray icons in ObjectDock?

I currently have ObjectDock v1.91k[a].025 installed on my PC. The PC is running 64bit Windows Vista Home Premium. Video card is an ATI 4850 video card with the latest drivers.

Sometime in the last day or two, the OD system tray has stopped showing icons on my screen. I still see the background of the tray, but it's not very wide, since there are no icons in it.

What can be done to bring the icons back?

This happened to me yesterday too.  I installed the .025 update, and the systray icons were there.  Then, out of the blue, they just disappeared.  I've tried to go back to a previous version, but that didn't help (the previous version didn't support systray icons in Win vista 64).  I know that the systray worked in this version for a while yesterday, and I haven't changed anything on my system...so where did they go??

I didn't do any updates at all lately...

Impulse is at version 3.02.305 (images: 3.02.152)

OD is at version 1.91k[a].025 and the last update was August 5, 2008. My tray has been working up until a couple days ago.

Check out this post there's a fix for this problem.
End of Hankers's quote

No joy. Still no tray icons after reverting to the non-beta object dock and rebooting.

Have you tried de-installing Object Dock, re-booting and re-installing Object Dock Build 537 with Stardock Central as indicated throughout that post Hankers linked you to?  That is the fix that a number of user's have indicated works for them including some who have a Vista 64bit OS installed.

I will try again, but why do I need to use SC to get 537? Why can't it be available via Impulse as well?

Impulse may be prettier, and have much better functionality, it ain't worth crap if Stardock keeps putting stuff in SC and not in Impulse.

Seabass has posted in the other thread (Hankers Reply #3) a fix involving clearing the OD Plus cache he wants people to try.  He just posted this a few minutes ago.

Because 537 aka .20 beta is the older one and the latest beta we can find on SC (before its replaced by Impulse which offer newer .25 /build 538 beta. Basically .20 /537 beta dont have this -maybe time bomb because its look like everyone have this systray disappearence at the same date (time???)- problem

LOL!  I just tried to install 537 in SC and it's not available. (Logs are in the fix thread mentioned above)

Guess I'll just need to try again later.
