Icon Tools Missing

One of my applications have icon tools.

When I skin with XP the icon tools are visible however, when I apply any of the WindowsBlinds skins the icons disappear leaving only the blank popup background.

When I revert to the XP skin, all is OK.

Can you help?

Open up WB Config and go to the "Settings" tab, then click the subsection called "change the look of an app".

Look for an option called "Add per application setting".  Click on this and a window will open up showing you your Programs folder.  open the folder of the program that is having a problem and double click on its exe file.  This will open another window where you can define how that particular app is skinned.

There are a lot of options here to choose from.  You can totally exclude that app from being skinned entirely by selecting "Ignore this application and do not skin it" at the top.  Or you might want to try selecting some of the other options like "Only skin this applications titlebar" and see if that helps.

It's a good idea to email support teh name of the app . .maybe it can be handled or excluded by default.

Thanks canmandeco,

You were spot-on with your suggestion.

I went into 'settings'-'change the look of an app' and excluded 'Microsoft Word' and the application that uses Word for compiling reports.

Although the fancy scroll bars etc are not there, the basic colors of the skin I am using doesn't cause the application to stand out like a sore thumb when opened.

Thanks Zubaz in future I will include the apps in question. As shown above Microsoft Word is the parent app which is interleaved with a highly specialised software used with infrared cameras.
