ObjectDock Plus -- latest version??

I've been trying to find and download the latest Beta for ObjectDock Plus, as I was told in Stardock's forum that it fixes the problems with the Weather Docklet that comes with it.  I downloaded the "latest version" through Impulse and installed it over the 1.90 Plus, Build 535u version I had (on Windows Vista).  When I run OD Plus it says it's still 1.90 Plus, Build 535u and the Weather Docklet still does not work correctly (it's on the wrong day, and the temperatures are incorrect).  Impulse tells me I have the latest version.  Obviously I don't.  How can I either get the beta they were talking about or a fix for the Weather Docklet?  Thanks for any info...this is really a great program if the weather docklet wasn't so frustrating and incorrect.

I have the same issue...

Impulse claims that I have 1.91k[a].025 (beta build - Plus) installed. If I look at the about screen in OD+ it states Stardock ObjectDock Plus (tm) v1.90a (Build 538u).

Versions will be "wonkey" for a small while with Object Dock Plus. This is due to the fact that the current alpha had several issues that we felt needed to be resolved before it could be put out for public trial again. Public betas/alphas are just that of course, a test. So if you experiance troubles please go into the settings menu found under the Stardock orb and uncheck the "show pre-release" option. Then update back to the last full version. The betas of Object Dock will differ in the next few days but it isn't anything to really worry about. Once we get into something more solid I'll post an update.

Wonkey seemed the best term I could put out there. We don't often retract a test build but rather update it. However since the alpha build was not functioning as intended it needed to backed up to the last beta build. Once we have something better to test with we will update again. As always if you still have troubles please back up to the last full build.

As to the paper bag.... that IS my head. Really.

i run vista x64 ultimate and the previous version of objectdock(the beta mentioned above) worked great, then one day object dock was different and my systray no longer functioned. i did a repair and now i dont see beta versions.. what happened to beta k is there any way i can get this again since it worked great?

I am having the same problem... today I reinstalled my Vista System and now I am not able to get the latest beta. Impulse is already configured to download pre-release versions but there is no beta listed for OD+.

In V.1.90 b535u the weather docklet simply does not work for my region... I need to get the beta again... how could I do it?

The beta that you had previously was pulled from Impulse. The update is taking longer that expected to complete at this time. However several fixes did go out for the location issue with the weather docklet. What location were you trying to get?

Well... to get the "missing" beta I installed Stardock central (which I had a backed up installer from this year) and from there I was able to download it. The v1.90u (Build 537u) does not have this problem, it allowed me to configure "Mexico City, Mexico" as a valid location.

Unfortunately stardock central is no longer available to download... it directs you to impulse. I think it would be wise to let users ask for this beta through the offical stardock support channels... this beta although it might be a worse cure that the illness has been working for me for almost 6 months without problems (and see.. I've been doing a lot of docklet development since then).

If you wish to use the current version through Stardock Central you can get SDC though here: http://sd.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe

What you need to know is that if you use this beta once the next version comes out through Impulse you will need to uninstall Object Dock, restart, then reinstall to the Impulse version. Please also know that this is a much older version of Object Dock, and betas are use at your own risk as always.

The impulse verison does not work for Mexico City, I had to update to v1.90u (Build 537u) to have it working.

I just hope that a beta for the new ObjectDock is not too far.
