like what i tried uploading a video of me playing demigod and it got removed saying copyright violation what else can i add to that

Would probably be a better bet to contact youtube for details about why it was removed. We have no problem with people posting gameplay videos from the beta.

What was in the message that you sent them?

Also, did it block it immediately upon uploading or a while later?

There's information on this page that may help you identify who asked for the video to be removed: http://help.youtube.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=83754&topic=13655

The process for filing a counter notice is found here: http://help.youtube.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=59826&hl=en-AU

But honestly that seems like a lot of effort to go to unless you're really attached to your current YouTube account. If you don't care about potentially getting banned if you have a video pulled again, I wouldn't bother with it.

There seems to be no way to contact YouTube support directly to explain, you have to jump through the DMCA hoops to have a chance.

anyways nobody actually removed it, cuase nobody saw it , it was removed before the video fully uploaded itself it was in the processing process when it suddenly said it was copyright violation.

i guess ill just put it on veoh or something less trouble

Tell me about it ! Earlier today, I tried to edit a post a few milliseconds after posting, and pressing the edit button (then still available) did not allow me to edit anything. I would have had to double post to "edit".

Kryoooooooooooooooooo ... Can your Web Master (or Mistress) fix that post-edit function ?

well seems veoh doesnt have a problem with it i just uploaded my 2vs2 battle there

already discussed it with kyro it that seemed to be the case so im gonna try again with no music and see if it happens again

k that wasnt the case i uploaded a demigod battle with no music just the game itself and it says

"This video has been removed due to terms of use violation"

heres the same video I hosted onto veoh

http://www.veoh.com/videos/v16025287AtNtfmtP

as u can see theres no music just the game iunno why it keeps saying this violation crap

Stop using youtube and try either vimeo or veoh. Both are excellent IMO.

i figured out why dont worry

1) time uploaded it had the music so it said copyright violation

2)nd time uploaded was due to movie lenght of 15 minutes which is why the part 3 of the vid worked cause it was 10 min youtube should clearly state that stuff cause it didnt say that anywhere while uploading

ill try vimeo thx

Looking at the one you put up on veoh, I see it's just the demigod music (I'd thought you might have added some extra background tracks as many people do). In which case that shouldn't be the issue, and I'm back to having no idea why youtube would reject it.

the veoh 1 is completely different from my first demigod vid
