Hidden Demigods Artworks?

12 of them, not 8?!

(Non-native english speaker here, so excuse my awfully bad language)

First of all, I've searched on the forum for similar threads, fearing that I might create just one more useless topic on How many Demis will be in game and what they'll look like, or giving info that evreyone already know. Not having found one (but found some hints and little bits of info in some topics instead), and specaly not having found the pictures someone on a French board has show off, I decided to create a new thread (and btw, the search engine of the forum is a real pain in the ass).

So, has said above I've been reading a board on DemiGods in a French community, and one of the user have post 12 artwork which he said have been found in some "installation files". Duno what file he's benn talking about through, and I've seached into my Beta install but didn't found anything. So it might be a fake but... Let just see the damn things:

 

 

That's for the first. And the second one have strangely familiar faces on it:

 

 

So... Pictures of the Rook, the Torchbearer, Reg, QoT, Unclean Beast and the Vamp Lord point the obvious: thoses are DemiGods artworks, maybe concepts... So the other first six might also be the other DemiGods.

But I think Stardock has said that there will be only 8 DemiGods at relase of the game... So what about those 4 left? Is "Sedna" one of them? We see two new female DemiGods. And that make 12 of them, not 8... So 4 Demis as Dowload content past release? Or 4 more Demi to buy if Stardock/GPG produce paid additionnal content?

 

So, discuss. I'm really unsure that this haven't been spoken before so if I'm wrong (through I've searched before posting), don't hesitate bashing me XD.

Edit2: And Why can't we delete the damn topic if no replies has been posted? That sucks.

Of course, I post the artworks on both forums(kastor is my Id on the french forums you mentionned) ^_^ .

You can find all the artworks in the directory *:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\textures\heroes\full\.

or *:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\textures\heroes\faces\ for miniatures.

 

use a dds tool to read the files. You can find one here.

I really hope the 4 missing Demigods will be available at release or soon after with a free update. The reason is the game begins to be really fun when there are lots of players. Games with unic demigods are a must-play and it's really a shame(that's my feelings even if I understand the reasons why Stardock cut the casting) not to be able to play a decent 5v5(10 demigods) and moreover for the last player the opportunity to choose between a general or an assassin( at least 12 Demigods).

I'm a huge partisan of delaying the game if necessary simply because Demigod have to be a true success in review, sells and the heart of the players

I wonder which is occulus, i'm guessing the tauren dude >.>. (hehe come on gpg, taurens!)

 

But an insect dude, a crystaline dude, and a falconer from what I can tell. Probably crystaline and insect are assassins.
