Linking an existing GC2 "install" back into SDC/Impulse

Hi Guys,

I've started playing GC2 again after a long hiatus, and I think on this laptop I installed GC2 by copying the files over from my (now retired) desktop to this laptop and activating the game (creating sig.bin).

I can play the game just fine and everything (Dread Lords v1.5) but I want to know if I can link this local copy of the game to my SDC or Impulse (I have both installed) without having to redownload everything again (limited quota available)?

I believe there's an option to verify the presence of the game while installing the expansions (since they require it), but outside of that, there's no option to do that. Ideally, if your old machine is still functional, you'd use the archival options rather than just copying the files over, so that you get a "proper" installation. In Impulse's case that would require a download (the option to archive already installed programs is currently disabled for an overhaul), but SDC should be able to do it just fine, and also has the latest version of DL.
