Multiplicity shows disconnected

Hello all,

I really hope that I'm missing something simple here.  I've installed Multiplicity on 2 machines on different domains, one being a 2k3 Domain Controller and the other being a Windows XP Pro workstation.

I've run the connection tests on both machines and they come back fine, I can telnet to the client machine and get the appropriate response, so I think the connection is fine between the two.

I can't seem to find something that would establish the connection between these 2 machines.  The systray icon on the server side (the XP workstation) shows disconnected.

Can anyone shed some light on what I'm missing here?

I have the same problem... The connection on both ends pass troubleshooting and I can telnet both ways ... it is like it doesn't even try to connect as there is no evidence it is trying to (screen darkening and whatnot) ... How can it connect in tests but not in practice?

Where on earth are all the freaking moderators or someone who can help us?

It's amazing the number of forum posts with similar issues that remain unanswered ... they would make a lot more money if they would help people who have the trial as nobody is going to buy the program if it doesn't work to begin with ...

It sounds like you have not set the secondary machine in the seamless config so MP has not been told to connect to something else.

I will make sure the trial gets checked in case there is some specific issue with the trial.

I should also stress that the best way to get support is via support@stardock.com rather than using the forums.  That way everything gets a ticket allocated to it.
