Inserting pics between text with new editor

Inserting pics between text with new editor

where'd it go?

Ok so I'm going to use the smallest pic I have to demonstrate this.

If I try to insert some text and then put a picture and then add more text and smilies it will not show the picture and cuts out the text that came between the pic and the smiley.

OK, so I typed the following:

Let's try this

then I clicked the add/edit image icon, I pasted in the url from Imageshack for my image, the bottom link that I always use. It showed up for me.

Then I typed the rest of the sentence:

and see if it works for

added a smiley from above

then typed the word:

me!

You see the above result.   X|

The WC Browser uses the IE control, so you're basically using IE. IE7 has no issue. This reply was made with IE6 on my machine at home.

PuterDudeJim, I think what we're dealing with here is a communication/understanding problem with using the editor functions at this point. Please follow the instructions of those like Bebi and Xandai who have posted some help for you.

ok lets try doing the same thing as zakai....

im typing a line and then hitting enter

 and some more text.

I'll be damned. There's the error. Thanks for the video zakai, that explained exactly what I needed. I'll investigate the problem as you've reported it.

OK I think I have this one solved. zakai, please confirm. If confirmed, I'll propigate this fix out to the impulse community and joeuser.

Also, you may have to hit CTL+F5 to clear your script cache (I had to).

Cool. And just to let you know. I tried it first without doing the CTRL+F5 just to see if it would work.  Although I had already tried that key combo on the home page earlier so that may be why I didn't have to now. Not sure. But it works. Thanks andrew_.
