WindowFX "unsupported operation"

from Stardock Forums

Hi!  I'm running Object Desktop 2008.  Specifically, I have the Leo Windowblinds skin running on an XP SP2 system.  When I try to run WindowFX, adjust the settings, and hit "apply", I get this error:

WINFX Error

Any ideas?

What version number of both programs are you running? Is any other program always running when you are using you computer?

I got the same error anytime I tried to save settings, it seemed to apply them though, but constantly getting that error was annoying.

We are trying this out on this end. We found one error but not quite like what you described. Could you start a formal ticket on it through support@stardock.com? Feel free to link this thread as well.

I get this error when I try to save settings as well. Windows XP Pro SP3 Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.GHz 4GB installed RAM, XP using 3.5GB WindowFX 3.09[a].008 Installed from Impulse 3.14.351 (images:3.12.214) (Build 975) Nothing else was running on XP, except standard XP start-ups. Basically, on a fresh boot into Windows, I will try to get the settings changed and I get the error. The settings DO change, it's just annoying is all.
