How to I create a link to a web page?

I thought this would be easy to do, but I can't figure it out.  I just want a little docklet that, when clicked, opens up a specific url in firefox.  Can anybody clear this up for me?  I know there was a wincustomize.com link when I installed, but I removed it and can't get it back to check how url's are entered.
Thanks!

OK, create a new shortcut, and in the path, type the website address. You can even change the icon.

Here's how:
First, right click and add a shortcut.

Then fill in the URL:

Thus, no docklet required ;)

On my box, it automatically opens in a new tab, so I don't know why it opens a new window in your case.
In Firefox, go to Tools> Options > Tabs and see if under "New pages should be opened in" you've selected new tab...

Like this:

If it still doesn't work, something needs to be changed in Firefox, I guess ;)
