WB skin application

I recently bought WindowBlinds 6.2 & SkinStudio 6, after using the 'trial' versions of both programs.

In the trials, the skins I edited/applied worked perfectly, without any glitches at all.

However, now that I have installed the licensed versions of the programs, not one single skin except for Vista Aero works. The skin has the appearance of Windows Classic, no matter what I do. I can't even use the 'apply skin' function in SkinStudio, because every time I use it, regardless of the skin, it says "Skin Studio 6 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

The trial versions of both programs are fully uninstalled, and I performed a reboot after each installation of the full products.

Why is the trial version perfectly functional, but the full-fledged, paid-for product faulty? Is there any way I can fix this?

Did you uninstall the trial before updating to the purchased version? For starters, uninstall this version and reboot, install Impulse and then install WindowBlinds and reboot again. Post your system info when completed.

Running a registry cleaner, such as CCleaneror another if you prefer, after the uninstall but before the reboot may help also.

when running WB/Vista?
