Any way to change the defaut icon for a file type?

Hello.

I have an icon that I really like to use for file types docx. I would like to make it my default icon for that file type so that when I change an Icon package it always uses the my icon instead of the packages icon or the windows default icon.

Is there anyway to do this?

johnjanet Create a shortcut to Wordpad. You will be able to change the icon for your shortcut into any you want. Once changed it will remain as you've selected. IconPackager does not change all icons on your system when you apply a new package.
