Could this be added into a future MacOS X Suite for Object Desktop?

I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'd be more than willing to put it to the test. There are some really good MacOS X suites available for ObjectDesktop 2008 and earlier and I'm curious if OS X's column view could be implemented... it uses a Hierarchical Menu structure and that would give a MacOS X Suite more of the MacOS X feel, that is if that were desired by the community... no flames please, I'm just curious if this is even doable or if it's too hard to even bother with.
