My Avatar was made fo rme by an artist here.  IT actually took a goodly number of versions before we bother were happy.

An avatar can be just some ol' thing you threw on or it can be something special.  Mine has a history that goes back seven or so jobs, back to the CompuServe service, almost two decades (along with the nick).

Tell us something about you and maybe someone will be inspired to help.

How's that work guys? You mean any one can use an avatar from the gallery.Do you need to get permission or give credit, or just download it and use it? And if I was to make one ,I could upload it for others to use,also? My current one was just a quickie.I'd love to have something a little better designed.

My avatar took ages to make... oh wait it didnt. It took a lot of alcohol though

I don't think that's correct. Everyone on here could have the same avatar. When you upload an image, it give it a unique number.

I like the avatar V did the best.....but it would look better either without the "I 8" and more like a slice was missing from the pie! Or have the "I 8" without the white backing to it. Either way I think V nailed it the closest.

Sydneysiders idea isn't bad either...but I think he was suggesting more for the food route than the Einstein route.
