Galciv ultimate

I just bought the game yesterday and it is 100% unplayable because the game locks up virtually every single turn. I want to know what you can do about it since I had to put in a passcode to install it which means I can't get a refund for the piece of crap I just bought. I am very angry about this and want to know what my options are.

Since you have a PC that HAD Vista on it, now changed to XP, it may be in your system.

Please send us an e-mail to support@stardock.com and include your dxdiag file.

I don't know how to do that. Can you help me on how to do that? I have multiple games that I am running right now with no problems that were problems on vista. So I high'y doubt it was because I had my OS changed over.

Pease go to the run in the start menu and type "dxdiag" and press enter. Then it will ask you a question about drivers to check and such. You can just say no to this and DircetX Diagnostic Tool screen will appear and load all the driver info. There you will see a button at the bottom which says "save all information" save to a file in your documents and then include this file as an attachment with the email to support@stardock.com.
If you need further help - I'll be checking back to see if everything worked for you. Give support a chance - they are very good and will get you fixed up!

ok use this in the run [which found in the start menu - unless it is not configured - do properties for start menu and under customize be sure you have the run function for the start menu]

Dxdiag will not just check the drivers - it will make a report so we can view what may be the problem.
Also you can try to use another run function...

type msinfo32.exe and press enter and as the same but instead of save the file export it to a txt file in your documents. Then send the file via attachment to support@stardock.com

this info is needed so the problem can be found as to why this is happening.

Also be patient as support has a lot to do and it may take awhile before they figure a response for your problem.

Also from what I hear have you updated the game to the latest version and such?
Can you give us some info as to how you installed and what version you have of the game itself!

What bought is one of those games you see in the basic $9.99 rack where it is nothing but a cd in a case wrapped up in cellophane. You know like those puzzle like games you see like tetris bie'jong, or whatever that is called. And it is called: Galactic civiliztions ultimate which I have not seen anywhere on this forum. It's usually Galciv or Galciv II expansions. never ultimate.

Also, the game is intriguing enough that I am willing to throw it away altogether and,cut my losses and just buy another one from you. That's how much I want to play the damn game. That's how badly bugged this thing is.
