from Stardock Forums

For some reason everytime i start objectdock it will not load and gives my computer an error saying it this program has stopped working.

Tried uninstalling/ reinstalling   // rebooting.

Nothing is working.

Free or OD+? How long have you been using it or is this a first time install? What OS?
Did you uninstall,run a cleanup program like CCleaner,reboot,reinstall and reboot again?

ah sorry
Renewed OD+, but its a new computer so its a first time install. With Windows Vista home edition.
When i uninstalled it was just a uninstalled using impulse then reinstall.

After you uninstall OD+,you should run CCleaner,available free here.WWW LinkIt's a great program for cleanups.
Run the reg. cleaner and remove any OD/Stardock entries it finds,reboot,then have another go at installing.Then reboot and let us know how it goes.

uninstalled , ran CCleaner , reinstalled , didn't work.
Just keeps saying right when i click on objectdock that it has stopped working.
Everything else from stardocks works fine.

I use Impulse for everything now myself,but if you still have SDC installed.you might try installing OD+ from there.Other than that,I'm out of ideas,and suggest you start a ticket with support@stardock.com. Good Luck
Meanwhile,maybe someone else will see this and have a suggestion.
Sorry I wasn't more help.
I use the free OD and it would be tough not having it once you're used to it being there.

What version number are you currently running? Could you possibly start up a ticket with us at support@stardock.com?
