Why do all the forums/threads available at WinCustomize not appear here in the Impulse/Community/Forums area?

I am not sure but this may be the thing...
All the threads including gaming posts appear in impulse but they dont appear here in wincustomize so what comes in most recent posts of WC may come in the second page of recent posts in impulse.

I can't find the thread, but if I remember correctly..
There are some threads on Impulse you won't see here or on JoeUser and vice-versa.

Impulse is geared more towards the gaming community, so it won't have life blogs, etc. I have posted on all three and have run into the same issues you bring up. I belive it comes down to what category your posting in. Somewhere around here is a thread that explains it better. Maybe someone else can direct you to it. ;)

If Impulse is supposed to replace SDC and ultimately be the premiere distribution platform for Stardock it doesn't make much sense to me to have it crippled, so to speak, by limiting access to features that were available in the platform(s) it's replacing.

Huh?  How is access to a new forum limiting access?  SDC posted to WC forums.

What 'new' forum(s)? My question was why 'all' the forums/threads on WC weren't available on Impulse.

Which, at least as far as I can tell, they're not? I looked for a posting I'd made here (couldn't find it on a search) and had to go to WinCustomize Forums to find it.

Maybe I'm missing some thing, but the number of forums/threads at WC seem to be higher than those available on Impulse. If I'm wrong I'll certainly for my error.

Joe user has the most forums. Followed by Wincustomize I think.  Then there are the game forums.  All of these have some categories that feed into impulse, but not all.  Just like some of the JoeUser forums bled into WC.

Stardock Central was really focused on skinning and skinning apps.  Impulse and ImpulseDriven are more general.  All your forums are still there . . they just are not accessible though Impulse.

The official answer to this is that the Impulse forums do not contain all of the categories that the Wincustomize forums contain. Thus you will not see posts on the Impulse forums for those categories that the Impulse forums do not contain.

By the way, you may wish to use more descriptive Titles in the future. 'Forums' doesnt really do much to convey to people browsing the forums what the topic of the post actually is.

Duly noted. Thanks for the clarification. I apologize for my misunderstanding things and will also try to be more 'descriptive' in the future title-wise.

Wouldn't it be nice, if the skinning community could utilize impulse in the way the gaming community can?
Imagine, opening the replacement for the program we once used for everything and finding the same features we once had, available again, in addition to new and possibly exciting extras that link our community to another??

Unfortunately, until that is possible, it's not the "be all end all" program we were led to believe it would be. It's actually rather discriminatory to skinning community members at this point. Too bad there isn't a link to give us a choice of which forums we would like to view in impulse's forums section.
