One post usually does the trick in getting help.  You may also want to send an email to support@stardock.com to start a ticket and have them look into your issue.  :)

Are you saying you don't want the WindowBlinds to start when you reboot?

Hello Hankers sorry about the double post didnt look like it went through the first time i appologize. as for the other yes i do want it to start but before when i would start up it would just already go right to the desktop skinned. now that i have downloaded wincustomize (not sure if this is the issue) i noticed on startup before going right to the desktop i see the skin applying itself as if i had manually done it. hope i have explained this well . thanks katt

Almost sounds like you have Random Skin selected. Have you tried uninstalling WindowBlinds, rebooting, reinstalling WindowBlinds and rebooting again to see if this resolves the issue?

actually no but i should try that i guess. when you start yours up do you see it applying before going to desktop or does yours go right to your desktop already applied. odd that is does this now the i have downloaded wincustomize. thanks so much will try the uninstall and rienstall. katt

sorry for asking but what is the random skin selection i didnt see an option in wb for that . thanks.

Hello again well the uninstall and reinstall didnt make a difference the skin is called Organic by Xiandi

Does this happen with any skin and are you applying the skins using WindowBlinds Configuration?

Okay i figured this out found the issue. when i installed wincustomize and downloaded the organic skin and then i also downloaded impulse for some reason it put the wbload.exe on my startup. so everytime i rebooted or started up the skin would apply so i removed the wbload.exe from startup and it starts like it did before all this started. thanks so much for all your help. katt

I almost sounds like it doesn't 'save' the last applied skin and has to reload it.Do you have anything else running that may use a lot of memory? Especially on start-up.I'm assuming WB uses it to apply whatever you had on before shut down.

hello its working fine now. I find that impulse is a very heavy program when starting up. i guess it has replaced stardock central. but all is fine now it just that i had downloaded the wincustomize browser yesterday and from there on i noticed a change. I have no clue as to why it would of put that wbload.exe on my startup but all is good now. thanks so much. katt
