How do I set a multi-tier dock?

I'm sure it's been asked before but I can't find anything on the forums. I want my tabbed dock's drawers to have two tiers rather than the plus sign to show more icons. How do I do that?

Only one row of tabs is supported.  You can grab a corner of your dock and drag it to whatever size or shape you want.

Or you can create multiple tab docks. They cannot be stacked but you could have them in different places. Give it a try.

If you have a plus sign on your dock, just grab the bottom edge and drag down. It'll create two rows, three rows etc. The key is mousing over the edges till you get a drag cursor, then drag away till you get the desired effect.

See, this is a drawer tab with two rows...I had a plus sign, grabbed the bottom edge and dragged down. Some single drawers don't look good with two tiers though (the dock) becuase of gradients or patterns etc. So watch out.
