Drag and drop close

I dunno if this feature has been discussed before but i think it would be neat to be able drag icons from the dock out and make it close the program...

It would be too easy to delete the icon accidentally by releasing the mouse button.

Is it possible to a buffer of X pixels so if u accidentally drag it off the dock but say not more than 100 pixels it doesnt close...just an idea
