TA problems

1. How do I decrease tech inflation? It's a bit annoying, it was just right in DA.

2. How do I lower ship maintenance costs? Those were better in DA as well.

3. Why does it cost so much to upgrade a ship, and why do I get so little for decomissioning a ship? I want to fix this more so than anything else.

1. Will be reset to DA levels with the update. (Due any day now)

2. Not sure about that, but I know it was added to make the economy more challenging.

3. Same as 2. I agree it can be frustrating sometimes, especially when all you have going for your empire is military might, but on the bright side it reduces a bit of spam.

Already released last night on Impulse and SDC :)

Maintenance costs and such were adjusted for TA to make the economy more challenging. You can't directly change these since they're based on a hardcoded percentage of the build costs.

I guess I'll have to wait until Stardock is done updating. I wouldn't want to mess with the .exe until Stardock is finished with official updates.

One thing that is really annoying now is that some non-combat ships cost money to maintain. Also, why do colony pods have half the size they used to have? They need to be equal to the troop pods. On that note, an Advanced Colony Module to complement the Advanced Troop Module would be nice. It could require Extreme Colonization to be unlocked or need a new technology.
