Need help with ToA tech tree editor!

Hello everyone. I would like to know exactly how to use the tech tree editor for Twlight of Arnor because for the last 2 hours I've been trying to figure out how to use custom based technologies let alone get them to work in the game. Could anyone help me by starting with baby steps on this or have a complete guide to use this thing because I don't know anything really about this and it's getting really frustrating. I would appreciate any assisstance that anyone can provide. Thanks! = - )

You really still need them to be a part of a full mod, load the mod, then make a custom race and go into the techs selection, and set your tech to that tech tree.

Of course, all the mod needs to have in it is your tech tree.
