Diplomacy - Cease fire - Achievements?

Trying to beat 4 AI. I believe I can't side get the full blown treaty or it blows the cap off the achievement. Does this go for a cease fire? I'm not sure what the difference between the two is. It isn't hard to get a cease fire, but it's a b*tch and a half to defend vs. 4 hard AI at once....even as Vasari.

I got my achievement "Actually Hal..." against 5 AIs, each it its own locked team.

Just dont attack all 4 Ai, and let them fight each other. If an Ai attacks you then attack, otherwise leave them alone. Of course you can take on one ai at first in order to expand your empire. And I find its best not to take on two ai in the beginning if possible.

I have read that as long as you aren't allies at the end it's all good. Haven't tried it myself though.

I stomped 1 of four AI's this morning. The rest is just mop up. Thanks for the lockup idea! Now I'll be more comfortable playing TEC and Advent to polish my skills!
