Open the .ini file for that particular dock and add this at the bottom of the [Background] tag:

OutsideBorderBottom = 10

That'll do it.

I did the changes you mentioned, however only the separators changed (they became streched) and the icons are still on the edge of the screen.

Sorry... the option "automatic distance from edge" does not work properly when changes are made manualy in the .ini file. Once I disabled this option I noticed the the offset changes...
