Cannot restore Twilight of the Arnor using Stardock central archive

I was trying to restore a copy of TotA on my laptop so that I could play it on that. I had originally downloaded TotA to my desktop - had archived a copy and then attempted to restore it on my laptop.
I was unable to do this as it crashed with file missing errors. I attempted a full reinstall of TotA on my desktop machine, but then alas encountered the same issue.
Thus I have been unable to restore TotA from a Stardock archive on both machines. The log file claims that some files are missing from the archive upon re-installation. I've noted that all files are extracted from the archive successfully, so I would suspect an issue between the .xml file controlling the restore and the actual filenames in the archive. However because of the mismatch the game will not start and demands I reinstall it again.
The only workaround is to re-download the game from Stardock Central, which is a bit of a pain.
