IP Update

I just did an update for Icon Packager. When the update was finished it restored the program to the old interface. I did a system restore to change it back but I'm wondering what's going on. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Duke261, it's always helpful to say what OS,installed version, update # ,and 32 or 64 bit when troubleshooting IP. ;)  Also, did you re-boot after updating? Impulse or SDC?

Your right...I should know better...Vista Home Premium, 32 bit,The update was 3.99.148 & I was loading it through Impulse. I didn't reboot as it did not direct me to do so. Installed version is 3.99.146

I show .148 installed here, also 32 bit Vista. I would make a restore point then try redownloading through Impulse, my update went perfectly. The new UI is really slick, imo. You may want to reboot afterwards, especially if you have a package applied. Good Luck to you

The IP update is kind of mixed up a bit with an older beta version. The 3.99g(b).065 is actually the 3.99.148 and visa a versa 3.99.148 is 3.99g(b).065 an older beta version.

The updates are good - but if you notice when you run the 3.99.148 version it is the older program style. Not the newer style as with Window Blinds.

Also in some case's there has also been activation issues. But if you did a restart that may not have happened. Then again it could depending on what system and such.
The actual newest release is the said beta release with the lower numbers for the past beta. But that should be corrected tomorrow by development.

So if you have .146 it is a good version. but the .148 is actually the older beta.
If you install 3.99g(b).065 it is a good version and the most up to date. I'm sure when all of this is fixed there will be another update to correct everything soon.

So check back - support is well aware of the problem.
