Transparent Explorer Backgrounds Gone in Version 6.03

Are they gone forever? Anyone else miss them?

I Just notices my explorer background which I like transparent are now opaque and the option is gone in WindowBlinds version 6.03. It this permanent?  It was one of the reasons I was enjoying WB over the default Vista Aero.

Transparent explorer backgrounds are a feature of WB 6.1 which is why they are not in WB 6.03

Hello there people, I had a update to Windowblinds last nite, it updated 6.09h.[rc].138 to 6.10.079, in the process it seems to have taken windowblinds back to an earlier version and in doing so I have lost explorer backgrounds, I gather it is because it has taken it back to a earlier version, in Stardock central it stands at 6.10.079 and the same in Impulse: My Desktop, but when I open Windowblinds, this is what I get on the sys. tab

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.03 (build 45 x86)
End of quote

Neil, the problem is that the 6.10.079 update in SDC is rolling people back to 6.03

Which explains why the Explorer Backgrounds disappear.

Sounds like 6.10.079 is a bad build?

Thanks for confirming that, pictoratus, I didn't install the beta. I thought it unusual to have them, then lose them with an update which is what happened in my case earlier as well.

Yes, Thank you pictoratus,

It is good to hear. I would miss it a lot if it were gone permanently.

I have the transparency back. I opened SC and it updated WB to 6.1.

I believe it was updating in Inpulse that caused the issue as maybe it ignores betas.

I am an happy camper,

Thanks all :)
