friends & multiplayer

My friends are all notorious cheapasses and if I asked anyone to spent $60 on a game they would laugh at me. However the only games that interest me are multiplayer games. If I were to buy the $60 GalCiv II ultra-bundle, would I have any way to play this game with my friends (spawn installs)?
