my dock disappeared?

hey guys,

I had objeckdock installed and it was woking fine for months when all the sudden, I turn on my computer one day and its gone. Now there is a new dock with no icons in it, as if it was installed for the first time.

Can someone please help me get my old dock back. I had like 20 different personalized icons on it so losing it would be a real pain. Is there any where it gets saved? Any way I can recover it?

I used to have the problem of losing my docks with the free version of Objectdock after playing a game that used a different screen resolution than the one set on my computer.
If you have OD+, in the options dialog you can save current docks and by doing this you would be able to easily switch to docks with icons you had already setup.
Unfortunately to my knowledge if you did'nt save your dock or docks, you might have to rebuild them all over again :NOTSURE:

It sounds like you deleted you local file.  Has anyone done "housecleaning" on that PC?

If you want to back up your docks you can always copy the contents of C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDock(Plus) (in Vista) or C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDock(Plus) (in XP)

jjeeeezzzz, that sucks. rebuilding my dock might take a year. I had so many variations of icons from different packages.

Its my personal computer and no one else uses my account so I'm sure it wasn't anyone else. But it wasnt me either since its my personal house computer and im usually in my office like half the day.

It just kinda happened, as strange as that seems.
