I'm going with the Marza.

It may be fat, it may be short, but that gun on it makes the Imperium's Basilisk look like a rubber band. I just wish it could be fired in engagements, that'd be friggin' awesome.

The vasari capital ship always looked cool to me. It's as thins as ships can get.

If it's Vasari it looks pimp, all else are merely resources to be gathered.

The best would be Vukoras Desolator, especialy with red coloring.

For best I would pick some of my favs:

- Progenitor mothership, because its unique design
- Kol battleship, because it looks like its going to kick yer arse.
- Vulkoras desolator, because its piece of art.
- Sova carrier, because those launching tubes look really nice and practical.
- Halcyon carrier, because it has shiny things in the back and it reminds me of Shivan raksasha cruiser in Freespace 2.

I can't clearly point what ships are "worst" for me, but somehow I don't like revelation. It's not hideous but I just don't like it as much as others.

I like all of them! Though the mechanics of the Advent Mothership is iffy...How can that thing stay straight up like that with those engines?

Oh boy. They're all pretty nice, except for the revelation, but I am partial to the Desolator and the Rapture. Awesome.

Revelation has to take the cake for being the worst unit, I would say. From the top it doesn't look half bad, but when you zoom in and apparently it has an untold amount of the purple goo people are enclosed in from "The Matrix" just sitting in a giant storage tank behind it, it loses a lot of it's coolness factor.

Best, I'm inclined to say the Kol (it looks ugly, mean and ready to stomp your face in) or the Radiance (it's like a big mean space shark, to the Vasari's space whale).

The Vulkoras is definitely pretty looking, and my runner up is the Sova - because it's what I'd picture a space-faring carrier look like. Not that Freespace's Orion-class capitals didn't help with that image ;)

I think that's crystal, not a goo tank. Either way, doesn't make it look good.
And it looks like it's got a giant eye on the front...

Each to there own I guess :) , I actually like the revelation, maybe it was just the name I liked and the first time I saw it I didnt know what kind of abilities it had so I was kinda worried. All that could have added to me thinking its something special I guess and it may not be.

The revelation has always looked like a giant flying head to me, but then again, I played alot of the Mega Man X series so...

I personally think the TEC caps look the best, even though I play Advent :( The Kol and Sova are my favorites. Aside from them, the Radiance is pretty sweet as well.
I'm partial to the TEC, but even if i wasn't, I'd choose the Kol. Espically with the visual enhancement mods, the Kol is a beast.  :HOT:

I'd say for the tec the Kol battleship looks the best with the BSG and Babylon 5 look. The most hidious tec ship by far is the Kodiak, it looks like a tank in space LOL. The Advents Radiance battleship is probably the best looking because it has that "I'm gonna kick your ass feel". The defense vessel looks stupid. For the Vasari the Skarovas enforcer looks cool but the Lasurak Transporter looks like a bug.

The Best:

5)Evacuator - A true Classic
4)Akkan - It has a grim, functional beauty to it
3)Halycon - Death has never been so beautiful
2)Kortul - Pretty sleek ship all around
1)Rapture - Hands down the sexiest cap. No arguing

The Worst

5) The Radience - great cap, terrible profile
4) Progenitor - Ick.
3) Sova - It looks like a flying carrier. Ok that sounded stupid, but it seriously lacks creativity
2) Mazra - Looks like the back end of a bus
1) Revelation aka "The Flying Jalapeno" - Nickname says it all. And WTf is the purple blob?

best goes to the Akkan or the Kol. Hands down.
worst? probably one of the Vasari ships. I dislike tentacles.

is it just me or do the TEC ships look like they came from Halo? and Halcyon, already used by Halo (they may both be ripping off someone else, But I haven't heard of one before the Halo Halcyon Cruiser).

I am pretty partial to all things human. alien stuff doesn't feel like ships should, well maybe the advent does (and, for the record, the Advent looks like the Covenant, also from Halo)

The Revelation looks like a shoe and the purple blob doesn't add to the appeal either. I hope they tweak it a little. :/

Ok I'm only the second person to say this (cheers redwingdw28) but, I really like the Revelation...and that big purple thing is a big chunk of crystal not a "purple blob" (wtf?) I like the fact that it flies sorta upright and it looks like a giant flying mask ...or maybe a jalapeno as said by sinsofasolaryeti. (But that just makes it even more awesome!)

Actually, some people said Kol looks like Warlock-class battlecruser (I might be wrong on the class type...) from Babylon 5...

I guess that since many of human spacecraft in sci-fi are boxy, there are bound to have some similarities between them...
My two favorites are the Kol and the Radiance. The Kol has that beefy "I'm gonna mess up your face" look to it. It looks sturdy and has the feel of a ship that would be sturdy and reliable in combat. The port and starboard auto cannon turrets give it a WW2 battleship kind of feel to it. It also resembles one of the B5 capital ships, which I've always thought were good looking ships. The Radiance is cool because it almost has an 18th century ship of the line feel. It has its heavy chaser weapons on the bow, and impressive laser broadsides.

Warlock class destroyer:

Definitely some similarities there. But I think the Kol is even better.
