Help me

Ok, I am pretty computer savy, but when it comes to routers and all that I have no idea what I am doing. I am tired of joining games and getting about an hour in, killing the host(who then leaves) and dropping the game because my router won't let the game migrate to it. I have read all the other forums and post and did the port fowarding thing to 6112 (but i don't know if I did it right), but i still don't understand what I am doing. please someone help me

The "migrating thing" doesn't work for many people (even some that have their networks properly configured). However if you're looking for info on configuring your network correctly.....

Please check my stickied post in the "Technical" forum and look for the link to the "Networking and SINS" guide (not the other one).
